-TheMorning: What was your first impression after landing in the Kingdom of Cambodia?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: My first impression after landing in the Kingdom of Wonder was a discouragement. After experiencing some hard time, I picked up myself and said I can make it here, never give up.
-TheMorning: What are the places in Cambodia you have visited since your arrival?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: I spent most of the time in Siem Reap and then I went to Kampong Thom, Kampong Cham, Sihanouk Ville, Takeo, and Svayrieng.
-TheMorning: Have you tasted Khmer Foods yet? If you have, what do you think about the foods? How often do you eat Khmer foods?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: Yes with so many foods that I can’t mention. They are so sweet.
-TheMorning: Do you usually cook or eat out?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: I cook sometimes, but eat outside more often.
-TheMorning: Where in Phnom Penh do you usually hang out in your free time?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: Well, I usually hang out somewhere at National Olympic Stadium during my free time for personal training or with my girlfriend.
-TheMorning: What do you think about the weather in Cambodia? Have you been accustomed with it yet?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: It was difficult from the start, but I’m comfortable and relaxed with the weather now.
-TheMorning: Can you speak any Khmer words now?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: I can speak some Khmer, but I understand more than I speak.
-TheMorning: What is the most challenging in your football career?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: The most challenging part of my football career was that no one believed in me, and people told me that I don’t know how to play football and cannot play in Metfone Cambodian League, but I have always believed in myself and kept praying to God for favor and grace to improve myself and put them to shame.
-TheMorning: If you were able to be one of the most famous footballers in the world? Who would you choose yourself to be?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
-TheMorning: How high do you think your club will finish this season?
-Okereke Thimothy Chiemerie: Top-4 is the target.
