Crown signed South Korean forward
The six-time champions of Cambodian League, Phnom Penh Crown FC, have just announced on their official Facebook Page about the signing of the South Korean forward, Gisung Yeon, in preparation for the second half of Metfone Cambodian League 2017. The 27 years old’s contract with Crown will last till the end of this season.

Phnom Penh Crown FC are now fifth in the current league table and have scored 26 goals, more goals than any other clubs in C-league, this season after Match-day 10. What’s special about their attack is that they have scored 11 goals in their last 3 league matches, and all of the goals were scored by their local players. As such, adding Gisung Yeon to their current squad will create more attacking options for them.
Gisung Yeon is pleased to join the six-time champions of Cambodian League and ready to mentor the club’s youngsters, and he is also confident that Crown has everything to clinch their seventh league title this season.
Gisung Yeon told the club’s reporter: “I’m very happy to join PPCFC, the stadium and pitch are excellent, the team has many fans, the coaching staff are very good and I hope I can bring some stability and encouragement to help the younger players. I think the team has the ability to be champions. I also heard great things about the club from my close friends, Sim and Baek, who used to play here.”
The South Korean forward, who will wear No. 12, can play with his both legs, and he could make his first league debut for Crown at the beginning of the second half of the Metfone Cambodian League.
