Ministry of National Defense FC earn three points following a huge come-back win
Ministry of National Defense FC came back from 2 goals down to win 3-2 over Phnom Penh Crown FC at home in Metfone Cambodian League Match-day 10 last night.

The six-time champions of Cambodian League, Phnom Penh Crown FC, displayed an outstanding performance in the first half as they took two goals ahead before the home sides pulled one back into the half-time break. However, the home sides pressed hard in the second half and managed to score twice to secure a tough 3-2 come-back win.
Brak Thiva, who scored one goal against the defending champions, Boeung Ket FC, last weekend, opened the scoring for Phnom Penh Crown FC in the 20th minute with a great volley after Ministry of National Defense FC’s defender and goalkeeper failed to clear the ball away from their dangerous box. Cambodia international attacking midfielder, Keo Sokpheng, doubled the lead for the visitors just 8 minutes after Brak Thiva’s opener as he received a great ball from Thiva and kicked it through Um Sereyroth’s legs into the net. The North Korean forward of the home sides pulled one back just 5 minutes before half-time with a fabulous back heel. Ministry of National Defense FC’s skipper, Reung Bunheang, equalized for the home side in the 70th minute before Cambodia international defensive midfielder, Chreng Polroth, who came on in the first half to replace Oup Kamol, scored the match winner in the 79th minute for the club based in Army Stadium to seal a come-back win.
At the very end of the match, Phnom Penh Crown FC had a few chances, but their forwards seemed to run out of stream, which made them unable to find an equalizer. The final whistle was blown, and Ministry of National Defense FC collected all three points following a huge 3-2 come-back win over Phnom Penh Crown FC.
