Crown’s head coach gives his verdicts on last night’s victory

Crown’s head coach gives his verdicts on last night’s victory
The six-time champions of Cambodian League, Phnom Penh Crown FC, put the defending champions, Boeung Ket FC, to the sword with a stunning performance at RSN Stadium last night. Two goals from each half secured an easy win for the home sides and move them into the third place in the current league table.

Phnom Penh Crown FC’s head coach, Oleg Starynskyi, felt satisfied with his team’s performance in the last night’s huge win, and he also praised his boys for their continuous hard work in the entire match. Crown’s skipper, Shane Booysen, was on the bench, but he was brought on to replace Brak Thiva in the 73rd minute. Oleg also justified over dropping his skipper as he was not 100% fit for the match. The head coach also lauded Suzuki and Sin Kakada for their outstanding performance.
Oleg Starynskyi told the reporter after the match: "We knew this would be a tough game, so to get the points was a big achievement. We knew full commitment today was not enough, we need even more and we did it at some points, but we can still improve. All eleven players were good, everyone never stopped today. In each position in our team we have competition - sometimes you win, sometimes you lose that competition; today Chanvuthy won the position. He did what we asked of him, to be organised and safe.
“We played the players who were 100% ready to play. For the next game, it depends on commitment, attitude and professionalism as to who plays. It will not be an easy game against Army, it will need full commitment and energy from us. They are physical, fast, well-disciplined and well-organised team, but we will fight for the points.
“Shane was not 100% ready, after the Western game he suffered a bit of knee pain, so he only restarted training on Wednesday, so I couldn't put a player who might get injured again, and I decided to use him as substitute.
“We are lucky with Suzuki, very hard working player, very flexible, can play anywhere, his work rate is amazing; and he and Kakada today were more than satisfying."
