Oriol Mohedano gives his verdicts on a victory over Electricite du Cambodge FC
Oriol Mohedano has given his thoughts on a narrow 1-0 win at home as one of his center backs was sent off due to double yellow cards and also his unbeaten run at the Tigers since his arrival as the club’s new head coach.
It’s another good weekend for Cambodian Tiger FC as they secured other three vital points following a narrow 1-0 win over Electricite du Cambodge FC at home yesterday afternoon. The Tigers’ giant forward, Timothy, who scored an equalizer for the Tigers against Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC last weekend, scored another big goal for his sides in the 23rd minute, and it’s the only goal in the yesterday’s tough match.
Coach Oriol Mohedano of Cambodian Tiger FC revealed that his sides displayed a good half-time performance as they scored a leading goal and created a few chances, but the situation was changed in the second half after their center back, Om Thavrak, was sent off due to double yellow card.
Oriol Mohedano told TheMorning via Messenger: “[The match against EDC] Was a competed game with very good moments in the first half, especially the goal scored and couple more situations [chances]. Then at the second half unfortunately Om [Thavrak] our central back was sent off because of two yellow cards and then team was mainly defending the attacking situations from EDC.”
Cambodian Tiger FC are unbeaten in their three matches under the coaching of their new head coach with two wins and a draw against the league leader, Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, so Oriol has described each match as the new opportunity to win.
Oriol Mohedano told TheMorning via Messenger: “We go one game at a time, and every single match is a new opportunity to win. I'm happy with this situation and that needs to have continuity to the next matches.”
