Ke Vannak, who came on as a substitute, pulled one back for the home sides in the 85th minute before Electricite du Cambodge FC collected all three points following a huge 2-1 win.
Electricite du Cambodge FC’s attacking midfielder, Sok Chanraksmey, who scored the visitors’ second goal, felt normal even his sides defeated a big team like Ministry of National Defense FC away from home, but insisted that the three points exceeded his expectation.
Sok Chanraksmey told TheMorning via Messenger: “I feel simple because it’s not the first time that I win against the big teams. It's [the result] more than we expected. If my teammates had been more confident, we would have scored more than 3 goals. But some of our youngsters felt nervous during the match.”
The attacking midfielder has now scored two goals for Electricite du Cambodge FC this season.
